‘Achieving Financial Independence’ eCourse
Although we initially designed it for parents, our ‘Achieving Financial Independence’ online course will give any adult the skills you need to build and implement your own financial plan. Why? Because you can’t teach what you don’t know.
That’s why our course teaches YOU first, then shows you how to teach your child. That’s why neither you nor your child need ANY prior knowledge about money. It’s all in there for you.
Not only will you have a child who understands money so they can get started on the right financial foot in life, YOU will have a better understanding of money so YOU can work towards financial independence and the lifestyle you want. What a happy side-effect of teaching your child about money!
For those without children: great news! 98% of this course is applicable to you. Some of our most passionate clients are child-free (and they like to teach their nieces and nephews anyway). If you don’t have young people in your life that want to learn about money, you can simply skip the last couple of minutes of each video in which we outline activities for parents to use with their children. Simple.
How it works
The course follows this learning path:
What you’ll get
Sign up for our course and you’ll get:
- 12 months access for one household to all course materials.
- Course materials include:
- 17 videos (nearly four hours of viewing)
- ‘My Financial Plan‘ workbook for adults
- ‘Money and Me‘ workbook for children
- Access to any additional content we add while you’re a member, at no extra cost.
What you’ll invest
You will be investing in our course in two ways – with your money and your time.
The course is valued at $365 including GST – that’s $1 a day!
It’s a pittance compared to the financial impact this will have on your life and the life of your child, but we’ve kept the price low deliberately so those on low incomes – who need this knowledge as much as anyone else – can afford to access it.
To get the most out of the course, we recommend investing:
- 10 hours in the parents-only part (watching the videos and building your financial plan)
- At least 10 hours completing the activities with your child.
You can spread that time out over the entire 12 months, or you could do it all in one week or one school term. It’s your choice.
